In FY 2023–24, the export of non Basmati rice shows a diversification in destination markets. The composite share of the top 10 export destinations stands at 56.15%, while the share of all other destinations accounts for 43.85%, indicating a relatively broader spread of exports across multiple markets. Notably, Bangladesh PR, China PR, and Nepal do not feature among the top 10 export destinations during this year. Instead, countries such as Somalia, Djibouti, and the UAE have emerged in the list of top 10 destinations. Additionally, the export shares of Benin, Guinea, Togo, and Vietnam have recorded a substantial increase, highlighting their growing importance as key markets for Rice (other than Basmati) in FY 2023–24.
